| The name America has a special place in the history of MV Agusta. The 1975 S America 750 model first comes to mind. It boasted an inline 4-cylinder engine with dual overhead camshaft, 75 hp and air cooling. 25 years on, the 4-cylinder Brutale revived the name America, with its signature colour scheme: blue, white and red.
Stars decorate the top of the fuel tank, just like on the 750 S of 45 years ago. The split seat sports golden stitching and distinct materials for the rider and passenger sections. The magnificent spoke wheels recall the colours of the American flag: blue hub, red spokes and white rim.
The Dragster 800 RR America is an exclusive interpretation of the Dragster 800 RR. It offers the same exhilarating performance whilst boasting unique design and technical features. Produced in only 200 units, it is a true Special Edition.
Performance and reliability have defined the lightweight, compact inline 3-cylinder engine since its inception. The latest updates concern the modification of the engine anchoring point to the frame. Also the balance shaft, the primary gears, the valves and cam phasing have been reworked.
The gearbox is quick, precise and reliable in engaging the gears, thanks to the EAS 2.0 Up & Down electronically assisted shifting. It is part of the rich electronics package that includes adjustable traction control and customizable engine maps.
Like most MV models, the “America” can count on a Bosch 9 PLUS ABS with Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation, that will intervene on the front brake to prevent the rear wheel from lifting. DRL lights further increase the active safety level.
