The off-roading segment has not seen many new bikes from Yamaha in recent years. But the XTZ 125 has been here for a long time now and enjoys a decent fan following. It ticks all the right boxes for an entry-level off-roader. There are the 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels with knobby tires, 35 mm front suspension and 5 step adjustable rear suspension with 180 mm of travel on both ends. And 260 m of ground clearance that makes it right at home off the road.

The engine is an air cooled unit producing 912.5 PS and 11.6 Nm of torque. The engine is equipped with an internal balancer for reduced harshness. The bike is very bare bones but its simplicity makes it well suited for off roading use. As an entry-level motorcycle, its low price makes it very approachable for new riders.
